Solution Architect

Position Summary:

As a Solution Architect you are the person who has an overall responsibility for the technical design of the solution.
You will be involved in taking key technology decisions at various stages in the project. You will work in close collaboration with developers to ensure that the different parts of a solution work together well, and appropriate technology choices are made. You will work with business analysts and customers to ensure that the system evolves to meet emerging business requirements. You will work with project managers to ensure that teams are formed, and tasks are allocated in a way that reduces dependencies between different streams of work. You will use your communication skills to ensure that everyone in the team understands where the solution is heading, and the roadmap to get there.

And you have...

• - Expert-level technical knowledge in one or more areas of technology such as J2EE, .NET, SOA, Database Warehousing
• - Excellent communication and customer interfacing skills
• - Skill in representing different architectural views of a system using diagramming and other tools
• - Strong analytical skills, and the ability to conceptualize solutions
• - At least 6-8 years experience in projects that vary in size, technology and domain
• - The ability and confidence to stand out as a technology leader in the organisation
